I will be running dual Napa orbitals or dual Optimas with a 100 amp alt. Will this alt. be enough to keep the batteries charged while winching? I also have 1/0 welding cable for battery cables.

I drop the pin into whichever hole is in front of my load and make the pull. Everything loaded, the winch unplugs from the power cord and is stored away. This way you don't have to move anything to get at the winch.

Nothing like having the cable break half way up and have to chase a runnaway car. I like to put a heavy jacket or blanket over the tow line. It will slow down the cable if it breaks.

It claimed 6k rolling pull, but the thermal overload would trip several times just pulling a car up the ramps. And that was with a snatch block for double line use.
