The app carries the live streams and catch-up viewing of community TV channels like Cape Town TV as well as eTV and some commercial TV and radio channels.

The show’s producer, Tatum Ludolph, cut her teeth in television production at the SABC live shows, Afternoon Express and Expresso. She brought her skills to Cape Town TV to revitalize and improve EKSÊ, a task which she has excelled at in creating a vibrant, entertaining and educational youth show.

Cape Town TV takes four kinds of programme content. These are: Acquired content (already made for purposes other than broadcasting on Cape Town TV); Independent productions (made for Cape Town TV by independent producers using their own resources); Co-productions (made in collaboration with Cape Town TV using our in-house facilities).

She joined Cape Town TV in April 2017 as the Producer of the news show, Our City, where she covered stories and research around violence against women and children extensively.
