If you're serious about photography, and have the lenses to make it worthwhile, the EOS 3 is the way to go.

If you want things to be easy get either the 24-85 or 28-105 USM f/3.5 zooms (_not_ f/4.0). If you really want to learn photography get some of the cheap primes like the 50mm f/1.8, 28mm f/2.8 and 35mm f/2.0 and you'll eventually be happier.

Sep 26, 2007 · The best quality one is Canon FD-EOS Adapters. This one can add about 14mm extension so it can be used for telephoto close focus or macro purpose. The next best is Canon's FD-EOS 1.24X adadapter. If you are lucky enough to get one for cheap, they are perfect for 200/2.8L tele and above (below won't fit).
