Nov 9, 2020 · New owner of a Canik TP9SFx pistol here. First range session showed it would not reliably feed Armscor 115 grain full metal jacket ammo. Seemed underpowered. They repeatedly failed to fully cycle the action. They are rated by the manufacturer as having a Muzzle Velocity of 1097 fps and a Muzzle Energy of 307 ft. lbs. Tried some Blazer Brass 124 grain FMJ and that worked without any problems ...

Aug 20, 2020 · I was told that the "norm" from the Canik factory for this model is advertised as =~ 3.5 pounds, but have been able to confirm that from the Canik web site. So, I guess I'm asking TP9 SFx owners what their trigger pull weight was from the factory. Also, if they have lowered it, what did they get it to and how did they do it.

Feb 27, 2022 · I just looked at the USPSA Production List of approved guns and the Canik TP9 SFx is listed there. And, interestingly, the Mete SFx is also listed (as is the SFx Rival), but the Mete SFT is not.

Mar 30, 2022 · I got my TP9 SFx last June, immediately put a Holosun 507C-Green on it, installed a Freedomsmith trigger and Galloway springs, and have put probably somewhere around 2,000 rounds through it since then.
