And for the new guy, if you really want one, search the Florida craigslist ads. I saw one for sale here in Tampa Bay a few months ago. I'm sure there are more here.

Jun 22, 2012 · Re: Cadillac Alumimum Boat Restoration Saltwater, Steel and Alum. don't mix as your boat proves. Cut out the really bad areas, sand off any other corrosion, wash with vinegar and water, rinse and weld in patches.

If you are looking for a fish boat or saltwater then the top brands are Grady White and Boston Whaler and Parker and moving up somewhat from them boats like Contender and Regulator (maybe, maybe not).

Aug 20, 2012 · Sure some of those stares could have been because of the crop dusting effect my 57 35hp Evinrude, mixed at 25:1 with a poorly tuned carburettor, leaves trailing behind the boat at a whopping 13mph. But I like to think some of the looks were because it is a good looking boat sitting in the water.
