Our mission has two parts: we aim to provide dogs with the vital socialization and exercise they need and to better mental health on campus by alleviating stress and anxiety through the therapeutic power of dogs. There are no upcoming events.

To report a problem with an animal on campus, such as an unattended animal, contact CWRU Public Safety at 216.368.3333. To file a complaint, contact the Office of Equity at 216.368.3066 , who will investigate any complaint that a service animal is disruptive or threatening.

K9 Maverick is a mixed breed of Australian Shepard and Bernese Mountain Dog born on November 19, 2022. He was rescued from Heaven to Earth Rescue in New Philadelphia, Ohio. He began working with his handler, Chief Owens of the Case Western Reserve University Police Department in April of 2023.

Dogs, cats, and ferrets are strictly prohibited in any residence hall facility. Housing, Residence Life & Greek Life reserves the right to determine if an animal is appropriate. Domesticated pets are permitted outside on campus grounds when leashed and properly attended at all times.
