Jun 19, 2023 · Try to find an AEM CAI for the B18 swap. It’s Soooooooo slick in there. Moved the filter back into the bumper, and fits absolutely perfectly, and looks beautiful.

Apr 19, 2006 · Dseries motors can be lots of fun, I currently have a 99 D16Y8(civic ex) swap in my CRX, OBD1 as mentioned, and running a stock P28 ECU. Its a respectively quick car, and gets well over 30 MPG when I keep it out of VTEC.

Aug 28, 2003 · From what i have read no a B18 will not fit under the USDM stock hood. I am also planning on a ITR swap into a CRX for a full road course FF car. Just something to mess around with till i am finished up with school.

The following is a quick overview of the installation procedure for installing a B-series motor into the 84-87 Civic and CRX using Innovative Mount Kit # 18750. This kit works for the B16A/B, B17A, B18A/B/C, and B20B/Z engines w cable transmission.

Mar 7, 2023 · Is it worth it to take out a perfectly good motor? I'll probably get about 60-80 more HP from doing the swap which will be more than enough to satisfy me. But I've held onto the B18 for about two years and I worry that if I don't do it now, the engine is going to rot away even though it's garage kept.
