Dec 8, 2006 · Good lighting for the CRF can be had for about $200 (complete system cost). If you are going with HID race lighting it will be ~$500 for the light alone regardless of the bike your putting it on (this price might drop in 2007). The down side of the CRF is you need a stator. An OEM quality stator for the CRF that will also drive lights is $119.

May 26, 2009 · If you look at Honda CRF 450 microfiche there is a different part numbers for every year from 2002 to 2008. I can’t believe the swing arms were redesigned every year. That can’t be right. I also have seen ebay adds that state 2005-2007 and 2005-2006 also another stating a 2003 CR 125 will fit a 2008 CRF 450R…. So I am confused….

May 17, 2011 · I just bought a CRF 450R i am 5.8, 180 pounds and when i tried to kick it over it start well the first time, i ride it for about 15 minitues when back to get goggles and turned off the bike. Walk back out side and i could not start the bike when it was off, my dad tried to start it and he had no luck with it.

Nov 19, 2008 · When i had my '04 450R, I bought a overflow tank from a 04' CRF250X and mounted it oppostie from the muffler. I bought the tank from service Honda , $17.00 bucks. After selling my 450R, I pulled the tank off.

Sep 28, 2011 · My 05 CRF 450R eats valves every 15 hours and its rediculous! I change the oil and clean the air filter religiously and its still happening. BIg bore thumpers offer new heads with stainless steel valves that they claim offers more reliability. Apparently the 08 model heads would fit the 05 aswell...

Nov 17, 2011 · I have a CRF 250x and a CRF 450R. I need to find out How Much, What Kind, What Weight of fork oil for both bikes. I currently need to change fork seals on the CRF 250X and will do the same on the R soon as well. I currently have a full 16 oz bottle Maxima 10 Weight Type E fork oil. Will this work Manual says 5 W Pro Honda HP Fork Oil.
