Feb 24, 2022 · I have the 150-350 primary and using the Cudney silver compression and xs821 rpm ok at 7700-7800,will usually hit 118-120 speedo on the lake,gonna try the Cr9,won't take long as i have changed helix bolts from hex to 13mm

Feb 21, 2016 · I also added the purple spring to my cr9 secondary set up, with 9 pucks (75.9) and 160/290 primary...its the best set up to date for me personally. The bottom end midrange pull is fabulous. Studded ice ripper and still spinning the track at speed. Coolest clutches ive had yet with this combo as well.

Jan 5, 2024 · It's my wife's sled so it doesn't get ridden hard. I doubt she would notice any clunking. I've had a Cudney CR9 helix with compression spring on mine for years. I guess now that you mention it there is some clunking, but I never really paid any attention to it. For me compression is easier to maintain, so that's what I went with.
