I am hearing different things from every motor builder I talk with...I need mid range top end power, and just enough grunt to get me through the dirt.

Apr 15, 2009 · For the 150F (kick start version) the CR85 shock is a simple bolt on with only a slight mod done to the lower shock clevis. To end up with the same ride height as a stock CRF150f shock, you'll nee to shorten the C to C distance between the top and bottom mounting holes on the CR85 shock, by .740".
