Dec 31, 2011 · Checked my Compression on a "never been apart engine" and compression still pumping 185 psi. I was going to change the rings but probably not now. Do you know what a new piston and ring would read? Thanks

Mar 15, 2012 · This might be the ideal ignition for the late model CR250R's which you could add a power-jet, it would also work well with the servo controlled exhaust valve 2004 CR125R. There are some differences from the Ignitech unit, less physical inputs (front wheel hall effect sensor), but finer adjustability as you point out. Jan 25, 2016 · The cr500 is the pinnacle of the 2-stroke world as far as I am concerned and it will be part of my stable eventuAlly. If you can find one that isn't crashed to poop then go for it. As far as a 125 I really don't think you will be happy long term with it. Go cr250.

I imagine it smooths out the power delivery and makes the bike easier to "lug" or harder to stall but does it also increase the engine brakeing?...
