May 15, 2020 · Recently I have had high CPU usage on my Toshiba Laptop, Windows 10, all latest updates installed. On checking, I found that it was the spooler subsystem that is using 26-29% CPU. I have tried all of the fixes that I could find and the problem persists. (1) For example, I ran the Printer Troubleshooter, and it returned no errors.

Jul 8, 2019 · When i look on task manager, I will sometimes see Services and Controller app using around 30-40% CPU sometimes when i am playing games, this happens and total cpu usage goes to 100%, and it seems to make my voice call sound weird. For some context, this always happens on start-up and then at random times. I use a laptop.

Upon researching, I found that few of our customers were also facing High CPU usage with Services and Controller app and this was caused by an application named “Segurazo”, which turns out to be a third party anti-virus software.

Jan 27, 2020 · Until the services and controller app keeps on rising and ends up taking around 80-90% of the cpu, resulting in a total of 100% cpu usage combined with other programs. When at 100% of the cpu, the laptop is awfully slow. In some cases, it is the system interrups that uses the majority of the cpu, sometimes even 100%.

Afterward, I monitored the CPU usage when no additional programs were running, only the essential Windows processes. Unfortunately, even with only Windows processes running, the CPU usage still remains at 100%.

Sometimes it's just backround processes that are using an unnecessarily large amount of the CPU (most of the time they're processes I can't end because it'll cause Windows to become unstable or crash).
Why has Teams just started using 100% CPU and memory
Jun 18, 2023 · Total CPU and memory usage are at or near100%, with Teams using about 80% of CPU and 23 GB memory (see attached screenshot). I'm working on a Surface Book 3 i7 32 GB with everything up to date. Environment is Windows 11 and MS 365 GCC with latest Teams version 1.6.00.12455 (64-bit), updated 6/7/2023.
