Aug 10, 2024 · The first time a shot a select-fire Colt 9mm SMG, I was shocked at how violent it was. Absolutely no fun to shoot compared to MP5 or any type of delayed locking 9mm SMG. It has low muzzle blast and crazy recoil from the reciprocating mass. Opposite of 5.56 where you have substantial muzzle blast but almost no recoil.

Jan 14, 2020 · New Frontier Armory has great dedicated glock 9mm lowers with the LRBHO feature. I use their lowers (actually the Joe Bob branded ones) on my 9mm builds. Never had any issues. Sound like you will be going with a cmmg barrel. One thing I will mention is that not all 9mm barrel out there will feed hollow point very well.

Oct 25, 2006 · Re: CMMG 9mm Ejector adjustment? Check the ejector's position in relation to the bolt carrier. It should damn near be touching the carrier. If the ejector is not all the way up in that groove that it rides in, there just isn't much material on the ejector to contact the rim of the case.

Dec 13, 2011 · CMMG offers a set of 3 tuning weights for their radial delayed 9mm bolt. Has anyone used them? I assume that using the heaviest weight would slow down the bolt speed. My question is: Does that help anything?

Feb 17, 2014 · I've got a 9mm CMMG guard (radial delayed blowback, or RDB) barrel & bcg in a standard AR upper & lower (carbine buffer & spring); it's so much better than straight blowback it's not funny. Recoil is really mild, unlike blowback guns where it's worse than 5.56 because of the heavy mass; this one feels like a braked 5.56 without the muzzle blast.
