Koiner Farm is the first urban farm in Maryland to be permanently preserved under a conservation easement. In September 2019, in partnership with the Maryland Environmental Trust (MET), CKC established Maryland's first conservation easement for urban agriculture. This easement permanently protects Koiner Farm from development.

Our vision is a thriving network of community-led farms throughout the urban neighborhoods of Montgomery County, Maryland that establish closed-loop micro-food systems and help Montgomery County residents connect with their neighbors, their food and their land regardless of land ownership status. Canton Kayak Club (CKC) is a non-profit, affordable kayak share program with multiple docks throughout central Maryland. Seasonal memberships run from May through October and include orientation training, unlimited use of club kayaks, paddles and life jackets, guided group outings, and social activities.

Welcome to Catoctin Kennel Club's web site. We are a group of people interested in training, showing, and breeding purebred dogs, under the auspices of the American Kennel Club. Organized in 1976, the Catoctin Kennel Club takes its name from the mountain range that stretches across upper Frederick County.

In order to maximize the benefits that protected greenspaces provide, CKC focuses specifically on community-led food production in urban neighborhoods. We do this through three programs areas, including (1) Land Protection, (2) Farm Management and (3) Education & Outreach.
