CHD4 - Wikipedia
Chromodomain-helicase-DNA-binding protein 4 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the CHD4 gene. [5][6][7] CHD4 is the core nucleosome-remodelling component of the Nucleosome Remodelling and Deacetylase (NuRD) complex. [8][9][10] The product of this gene belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family.
CHD4 Neurodevelopmental Disorder - GeneReviews® - NCBI Bookshelf
Sep 3, 2020 · CHD4 neurodevelopmental disorder (CHD4 -NDD) is associated with developmental delay, speech delay, and usually mild-to-moderate intellectual disability. Variability between individuals with CHD4 -NDD is significant, and a few have normal intelligence.

How does CHD4 slide nucleosomes? - PMC
CHD4 is an essential and ubiquitous chromatin remodelling enzyme that until recently has received less attention than remodellers such as Snf2 and CHD1. Here we review what recent work in the field has taught us about how CHD4 reshapes the genome.

Aug 7, 2019 · In this study, we investigated the clinical spectrum of the disorder, genotype–phenotype correlations, and the effect of different missense variants on CHD4 function.
CHD4 chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein 4 [ (human)]
CHD4 mediates proliferation and migration of non-small cell lung cancer via the RhoA/ROCK pathway by regulating PHF5A. Chd4 choreographs self-antigen expression for central immune tolerance. CHD4 regulates the DNA damage response and RAD51 expression in glioblastoma.
Identification and characterization of novel proteins associated with CHD4
The CHD (chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein) family consists of nine chromatin remodeling factors that alter chromatin structure in an ATP-dependent manner. CHD4 contributes to the regulation of various cellular activities and processes including development through interaction with multiple …
