The C79A2 sight is a component of the C7A2 mid-life update program of the Canadian Forces' inventory of C7A1 rifle systems. The older rifles and sights are meant to be exchanged 1:1 and brought to the -A2 standard.

Is the C79 scope supposed to be zeroed at 100 meters or 200 meters? From my reading, it should be 200 meters. Makes more sense considering, as it stands now, most long distance engagements find my target completely obscured by the reticule. Damn frustrating. Archived post.
