Jun 14, 2016 · I'd driven a 2 or 3 C7 Z51's and a C7 Z06. Based on your stated priorities, the C7 would be an upgrade. FWIW, I have a highly track-prepped C5 Z06 that's a blast on track, not so fun on the street due to fixed race bucket Recaros, 5 pt. harnesses, very stiff suspension, etc.

Apr 2, 2019 · The Sti is definitely a more direct car, maybe to the point of "skittish"; all wheel drive, smaller tires, it does drive differently and he has driven my Vette and agrees but we agreed that each communicates very well with the driver.....

TLDR: Told myself I'd only buy a C7 if it's a Z06, however, worried about the price difference between a GS and a Z06, would I be better off just buying a GS and saving the extra money while still having decent power to enjoy the car?

Apr 10, 2022 · I'm a month late but congrats on the car man. I had a white STI and now daily a C7 z06 as well. As much as I love subies, the Corvette does everything better. Handling, braking, accelerating, drifting (lel), and breaking necks.
