Dec 8, 2019 · I wouldn't worry too much about buying a higher mileage car with this engine platform. It is pretty bullet proof, especially if you can do your own work. I do recommend that you do the PCV/Oil separator service and upgrade your turbos from the stock cast S6 turbos to billet style/RS7 turbos.

Feb 4, 2016 · While I think these newer Audis are very reliable, parts and repairs do start to add up quickly on a $75+K car after 55K of miles on it. And Audi just doesn't CPO cars with more than 60K on them, so you are not going to see or find any high mileage CPO'ed S6s. I must say my S6 (2013 with 40K Miles) has been very reliable.
