Oct 14, 2020 · The C3 is a Parker-Hale Model 82 with a Kahles Helios ZF69 6×42 scope. The M82 is the sniper version of the Parker Hale 1200TX target rifle. The actions are glass bedded and the rifles tuned for accuracy, including the triggers. The original C3 was adopted in the Canadian military in the 70’s and served very well for many years.

The M3 became the main submachine gun over the Thompson for the U.S. and South Korean forces during the Korean War, because the Communists used the Thompson submachine gun, which the U.S. donated during World War II, as one of their main weapons during the war.

Mar 4, 2020 · After two months of rigorous testing in the winter tundra the XC3 won out. Two variants were ordered, the C3A1 with polymer furniture and the C3A2 with wood. As oil became more scarce the wooden variant became more common. The later C3A3 featured a more traditional trigger.

The C3A1 and C3A2 (collectively known as the Elsie) are Canadian minimum metal anti-personnel mines. The differences between them are very minor and hard to distinguish visually. Elsie mines were first deployed by Canada in 1962, by the USA in 1965 and by Japan in 1967.
