Aug 25, 2011 · I have owned C3's, C4's and C5's. I owned my first Corvette, a '74 4spd Coupe for 24 years. A C5 is the better choice because: 1) All around better performance-zero to 60, 1/4 mile, top speed, cornering and braking etc. 2) Much better gas mileage. A C5 6 spd can get 32MPG+ on the highway. 3) Much more comfortable to drive long or short trips.

May 23, 2002 · Don't get me wrong, the C5 is awesome but is in an entirely different class from the C3 if you ask me. Like comparing a 2wd truck to a full off road Hummer. C5 is like driving a nice, fast Lincoln Continental or something while driving the c3 is like driving a race car.

Mar 16, 2021 · I have tried some C5 jackets on all in Small - the Infinium Thermo (tight), Phantom 2.0 (a little too baggy), Thermo MTB Power Trail (a tiny, tiny bit of movement) and the Insulated Jacket (a tiny, tiny bit of movement as well). So the same jackets in C3 might be even less tight?

C3 is beautiful but reliability and performance is inferior than c4 or c5 from what i heard, more fit for garage queen.

Sep 1, 2020 · The C5 as you pointed out is more comfortable... has 'modern' conveniences, and has good performance. You may still have to put a little work into a 20 year old car, but it wont be as much as a C3 will be.
