The Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) C151 is the first generation electric multiple unit (EMU) rolling stock in operation on the North–South and East–West lines of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system, manufactured by a consortium led by Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) under Contract 151.

The C151C is the second train type to be equipped with STARIS 2.0, which consists of two LCD screens displaying travel information and advertisements. Travel information includes upcoming stations and door closing warnings.

The C151B is the first train on Singapore's rapid transit network to be fitted with an LCD route map, named STARiS 2.0, as well as electronically-actuated doors as opposed to pneumatic-operated doors.

Notable difference of the C151A trains are the thicker grab poles, the curve dark grey aircon ventilator, the different stickers used to depict the fire extinguisher and the side panels with curvy designs on it. The train also comes with the STARIS embedded in the door's overhead panels.

Oct 25, 2024 · STARiS 2 is integrated into all C151C trains, with LCD displays and LED door opening indicators built into the panels above all 48 train doors. It provides commuters with their route information throughout their journey and indicates which side the doors will open.
