The story of BWAC logo designs starts in the mid-80s, when the group that called themselves the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition began mounting outdoor sculpture exhibitions on federal park land between the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.

Our new logo was developed by members working on a committee. Committee work is important to BWAC’s operation and fulfills required volunteer time. We hope you will consider joining.

BWAC is a artist-run, 501(c)3 non-profit. With 25,000 SF of exhibition space, we provide opportunities for artists to show their work, develop professionally, and engage the public in the experience of art.

BWAC kicks off our 2025 season celebrating our relationship with “Animalia” of all kinds represented in any media. In partnership with local animal rescue groups; dogs and cats will be available for adoption during the show.
