The program calls for the phasing-out of jeepneys, buses, and other public utility vehicles (PUVs) that are at least 15 years old and replacing them with safer, more comfortable and more environmentally-friendly alternatives over the next three years.

The Hino PUV is powered by a 4.009 L, N04C-VC diesel engine that complies with the Euro IV emission standards. It produces 136 PS max. output and 390 Nm max. torque (ISO Net). It offers outstanding fuel-efficiency and powerful performance.

Buses have high passenger capacities. It makes them ideal for handling high volumes of commuters, especially during peak hours in busy urban centers. Beyond urban transit, buses also serve inter-city and provincial routes, connecting different regions of the Philippines.
