Burgdorf offers rustic cabins (see map) for rent. They are all special and boast their own unique history. All cabins are without running water and electricity, so please be prepared to “camp inside a cabin”.

Burgdorf features three historic log sided pools with gravel bottoms. The two small pools at the source of the spring fluctuate around 113°F, while the larger pool averages 100-113°F, depending on the location within the pool and the season.

We are fourth generation family owners of Burgdorf Hot Springs, a National Register Historic Site in the heart of the Payette National Forest 32 miles north of McCall, Idaho, originally settled by Fred Burgdorf in 1865 and purchased by James Harris from Mr. Burgdorf in 1923.

Our cabins at Burgdorf boast simple and rustic charm within walking distance of our hot spring pools and office. Come prepared to stay in a minimally furnished log cabin without running water or electricity, in the heart of the scenic Payette National Forest.

During the winter season you may consider snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or other winter activities on and off Burgdorf property. During the spring/summer/fall season you may consider hiking, biking, or wildlife viewing.

Dec 30, 2021 · Burgdorf Hot Springs is open by RESERVATION ONLY to cabin guests and limited day soaks. No walk-ins. In order to provide safety to our cabins guests, day guests and employees we ask that you do not ride through gate or stop in for snacks unless you have a prior reservation 24 hours in advance.
