Hi everyone, I'd like to ask a question to find out if I'm the only one affected by this ‘bug’ and if it can be fixed. On my laptop, I've upgraded to Windows 11 24H2, and I've noticed that as well as having moved my icons on the desktop anywhere, their size has changed!

Oct 1, 2024 · This is a known bug in Windows 11. This bug is also triggered after switching between virtual desktops. I am experiencing this from time to time and restarting the explorer seem to be the only method that's effective for me. I added a Restart explorer on my desktop context menu, so it is easier to restart it.

Dec 13, 2024 · Instead of fixing a bug it is just adding this new annoying one that causes the 3 dots menu to open upwards. 😝🤬. It has been reported several times to Microsoft with FBH reports, but they still did not come out with a correction to the faulty fix. However, I still don’t get mail notifications - suggestions to fix notifications in general would be of no help, since notifications do work for calendar events. I habe the option for mail notifications turned on of course, and they are set to top priority.

Nov 17, 2024 · So I have an issue. When running 24H2 (Stable), my taskbar highlights the first icons it could find on startup. It's mostly the Widgets icon, or the windows button if the widgets are disabled or if the taskbar is set to left. It happens on 24H2 and not 23H2. It's kinda annoying especially during startup.

Oct 6, 2023 · This particular Explorer version does seem buggy, with this and the persistent and annoying suggestion box below the address bar, that doesn't go away. Is there a bug page for that? I can't seem to find the right search terms for it. On my machine, explorer.exe is 27 Sep 2023, 10.0.22621.2506
