
BT-42 - Wikipedia
The BT-42 was a Finnish assault gun, constructed during the Continuation War. It was constructed from captured Soviet BT-7 light tanks and British 4.5-inch howitzers (114 mm-calibre light howitzer, model 1908) from 1918, which had been donated during the Winter War.

The BT-42 (from the year of acceptance of the model) was essentially a turretless BT-7, fitted with a brand new turret housing the 114 mm (4.48 in) howitzer. The concept was influenced by the KV-2 and BT-2, BT-5 and BT-7 prewar infantry support conversions.
