Would I get more money by replacing the drive with an SSD one or just leave the mechanical (working just fine) drive in place? If I do replace it, what size? The prices are a bit high and I'm afraid I won't profit.

May 21, 2023 · With the movie out I know eBay is charging crazy money on the brown and in box Zunes (I saw one for like $5000 yesterday, absolutely crazy). While the brown is cool, you can also get some cool colors of the Z30 in like white, pink, red, orange, and the more common black/blue one (which is what I have, love it).

May 19, 2023 · So far people agree on paying 90-100% more for movie accurate color isn't too bad imo, still decent considering Zune 30's MSRP was around 250$, and it only the brown color that get the price boost, I'm glad that it isn't 1000$ or more considering greedy adult collector be paying more just to price shilling.

I immediately thought of the Zune. Same day i looked online to see if someone close had a Zune posted to buy and to my surprise there was. Basically new Brown/Green 30 GB Zune with box, unused headphones/charging cable, CD and pouch. Listed for $80 but talked down to $40. I feel complete inside.

Jun 11, 2023 · I'll second the recommendation for the brown Zune 30. (It's funny; that color was widely mocked when it debuted, and Microsoft apparently took that criticism to heart. That color was never again used for any of the later models. But people love it now.) The main reason is that as I understand it, it's easier to work with for modding purposes.
