The F5C is a classic rendition of the 1923 Loar F5 mandolin. Tone and asthetics are very close to original Loars. Purposely selected light flame for F5C. There was only one Gibson Loar A5 ever built. It has become the instrument to copy and here is my version, the A5C. fret neck. The V6 is my original 3 point “no nonsense machine”.
