Jan 8, 2024 · Brent Seabrook, a Blackhawks icon with three Stanley Cup victories, faced a pivotal moment in 2019 when injuries took a toll on his body. Despite a stellar career, Seabrook wasn't ready to say goodbye. He underwent multiple surgeries, hoping for a comeback in the 2020 playoffs, but it didn't happen.

Since stepping away from the NHL in 2021, Seabrook has joined the WHL’s Vancouver Giants as a player development coach working alongside and learning from Michael Dyck, who was his assistant coach with the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
