Bray Head Walk is a 9.8-kilometre loop trail where you can breathtakingly beautiful scenic views of County Dublin and Bray itself. The hill dominates the end of the promenade and the stone cross atop the hill is an iconic feature of the town.

The Promenade starts from the harbour near Martello Terrace, the childhood home of James Joyce, and ends at the base of Bray Head. The Promenade is a mile long walk along the seafront and commands magnificent views of Bray Head, The Sugarloaf and The Wicklow Mountains.

It is one of the highlights of walking in Wicklow, as it takes you from Bray to Greystone through its pretty coastal path, with views at every corner for you to capture and remember forever.

When proceeding north to Dublin keep the tower on Killiney head in line with Bray Head to avoid the rocks near Killiney beach. When going south give Bray Head a good distance off and at the other side of Bray Head stay out to avoid Cable Rock.
