Jun 10, 2024 · The kind that attach to the grip always puts part of the bow below the workbench reducing how much movement you can get. With the OMP or BowBars vises I can have the bow completely above the bench, in any direction, as well as dropping it completely down away from the bench allowing full access to both sides of the bow at all times.

Feb 22, 2023 · It does look like a quality vise. What’s holding me back is the rubber padding in the jaws of the clamp that hold the vice. what they do provide looks pretty minimal. Wish they would fully pad the inside of the clamp like they do with their gun vice. I just don’t want to risk scratching up the riser on my bow. Thanks for the review

Jul 5, 2023 · A piece of 5/16-24 threaded rod and a standard vise is the cheapest you can go. Remove front stabilizer, screw in threaded rod, lock in vise, work on bow. May 8, 2024 · Leveling and tuning the bow is a breeze, you can manipulate the bow in any direction. While it doesn't currently have a micro adjust option I have heard they are working on one. However, with how this vice works I really don't see the need for it. This vice makes leveling your sights axis the easiest out of any I have worked with.

Dec 10, 2012 · Here is a flexible Bow Vice I made up a couple of years ago and not only is it very useful for my compounds but also my recurves. The bottom or top limb of the bow can be safely held in the clamp without causing any damage to the limbs.
