May 21, 2013 · Le Bouchon is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The room is tight and crowded when it is busy, but it is in the style of a French bistro to a "T." When I go, my menu looks something like this: Pate to start, followed by escargots, some form of kidney or liver (rabbit is always the best), salad lyonnaisse, and then an entree.

Jun 29, 2023 · The wine list at Le Bouchon always has some excellent choices. On Monday, it's pretty close to retail pricing. If you are a fan of Beaujolais, their selection is as good as anyplace in the City. There's always a few excellent champagnes to choose from and some really good red and white burgundy.

Aug 29, 2024 · We went to Le Bouchon and are glad we did, not just because of the fire but because it was a fine meal. The highlight were the scallops - there were three large scallops and beautifully cooked.
