Mar 11, 2025 · I'm learning myself about vintage bottles, but if it has no brand or maker's stamp, I'm not sure you're gonna get a bunch of people here saying it's a great bottle. Folks want more info if they're putting down hard earned cash to buy anything, and while a cool looking bottle, not sure what a buyer would do with that in trying to establish a value.

Mar 6, 2024 · Some criers… the newest is the Castoria bottle (c 1900), and it seems like a newer throw placed on top. Lots of pieces of 80s-90s bottles, a group of loose blobs, and an old cathedral pickle (c 1880). I was happy to find the banded cone ink- it’s an earlier one!

Oct 3, 2010 · Bottles have been pouring in from all around the globe for decades that "look" old, and the easiest way to discern them from genuine antiques is by the lip features... there's plenty of other clues, but first look at the lip.. you want to see the mold seam disappear on it's way up the neck, like it was wiped off while the glass was still molten ...

Jun 8, 2008 · Thanks. Lol, dont feel old. Everything is old to me if it came from before I was born, I'm only 23. I didnt think the bottles were that old since I believe Mountain Dew started in the 40's. Maybe in another 50 years or so they will be a rare a desirable bottle. The labels are perfect and the bottles are as well.
