Feb 9, 2021 · The Borovets ski area consists of three adjacent but poorly linked sectors: the central Borovets 'Sitnyakovo' slopes which flow into the resort's main base area, the thickly forested neighbouring Yastrebetz sector, and the highest, above-the-treeline Markudjik sector.

Borovets is a modern ski resort with luxury hotels, shops, bars and restaurants. The resort provides excellent skiing facilities, pistes and lifts. Diverse winter sports can be practiced on the slopes: skiing, snowboarding, night-skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski jumps, ski-doo etc.

Borovets is among the largest Bulgarian ski resorts in terms of length and capacity of ski trails and facilities. It is situated on the Northern slopes of the Musala ridge in the Eastern part of the Rila mountain.

There are three ski centers in Borovets ski resort: Central Borovets ski center – starting from 1337 m altitude up to 1780 m. Yastrebetz ski center – from 1340 m up to 2369 m. Markudjik ski center – from 2340 m up to 2550 m.
