Start with the back first. You’ll want to measure and cut a grave where the ribbon will settle into and then get recovered.

Make sure the snap is on a reslient or soft surface such as corrugated cardboard or a cutting mat, or the top cover of the snap will deform.

For Strap & Snap closure (skip to Step 15 for Button & Loop): Fold the strap down to overlap the front snap. You want the stud snap on the strap to be around 3/4” from the folded edge of the strap but use the socket on the front piece as a guide.
