Aug 29, 2023 · Starting a fight will trigger Booal to reappear and attack you but since you only need Booal to be worshipped by the Kuo-toa to get the buff you can actually kill him and still have Booal’s benediction. Just be sure to only start a fight AFTER getting Booal’s benediction.

Fast forward to now and I know how much more about the game so this seemed like a useful buff for my planned three-person party so I sacrificed someone again, but this time the buff disappears from a character whenever they die.
