Sep 5, 2020 · The bombarda- redgill method does well for me early season. Always carry a set up with me on all sessions. I prefer the Ron Thompson ones than the INNO ones as they are cheaper and more aerodynamic. 20g floating is the one I use most of the time with a red coloured rascal 115 mm redgill eel but use stronger hooks than the ones that come with it.

If you look at the photos in this thread you can see that I have been using another type this season but the same theory , they are more expensive and called INNO bombardas and you have to buy them from Denmark .

Dec 30, 2022 · Instead of a Bombarda float, i use a medium clear bubble float. Mainly for mullet but pick up a lot of bass. Ive experimented with a fly but not caught on it yet. Initially the plan was to try mullet flies. The bubble doesnt spook the most wary of fish, even slowly trolling through a shoal of surface feeding mullet.
