The Bola is a primitive weapon used to immobilize small or medium sized creatures. It can be thrown and when it hits a target, it wraps around their feet or body and entangles them. The Bola roots humans in place for 25 seconds and wild dinos for 30 seconds.

The Chain Bola is ammo used with the Ballista Turret. Like the Bola, it is primarily used to trap dinos, but the chain bola can trap much larger dinos. It immobilizes the trapped creature for about 15 seconds.

To make Bola, combine Thatch, Stone, Fiber, and Hide for 5 seconds. Very useful if u encounter a giga in the wild because u can bola ur tribe member so they get the first hand experience of encountering a giga. Y'know what would be cool? Bola arrow, you need a bow or crossbow to fire it and it's just a chain bola but fitted for crossbows and bows.
