Feb 14, 2009 · To be sure, the RP-40 is a receiver not just an amp... nice 7355 output tubes and big iron. - one set is upper and has a wire to select impedance setting from four terminals marked 1/2/3/4 (for 4Ω/8Ω/16Ω/32Ω, I am guessing). - the other set is lower and has 3 terminals, L/G/R (Left/Ground/Right).

Nov 23, 2009 · IMO Bogen made some very good equipment. I have two of their lower powered receivers, SRB-20 (6BM8/ECL82 tubes) and RP-200 (7189 tubes) receivers, and both are good performers. Bogen used very good tubes, including Mullard, and good transformers. They are not difficult to work on.
