Bochasan (Gujarati : બોચાસણ) is a village in Anand district, Gujarat, western India. [1] It is known primarily as the origin of Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), so named because its first formal center was established in Bochasan in 1907 by its guru Shastriji Maharaj .

Bochasan is a village in the Kheda District of Gujarat. By Shastriji Maharaj in 5 June 1907. In total, Lord Swaminarayan visited Bochasan 32 times. The bullock-cart that Kashidas used to take Him around is presently displayed in the Akshardham prasadi mandapam in Gandhinagar.
