We have a new distributed BOBJ 4.0 SP2 FP 8 environment for all bobj services and we even split up the web tier content into static and dynamic following James Rapp document. We had some initial hiccups but were successfully able to configure the environment. We have a SAN for FRS and CMS DB exists on a different server all together.

we are planning to use import wizard and move all the stuff from BOBJ dev to Bobj QA. All the universes created are based on SAP BI query. When using the txport wizard we are basically doing the Select all and Importing all the options given by system.
