Feb 26, 2008 · My 2 cents, cut the frame in front of the rear pintle side braces and put back together with bracing. I don't know how much to cut out if you are using a m105 bed, but if you use a Deuce bed and take out 1 section of bed it is exactly 3 ft. Use a set of front Deuce springs and drill and mount to existing frame in rear.

May 13, 2014 · They also seem to burn oil. Put a Cat reman in a 950F a couple years ago and it started burning 2 gallons of engine oil per 175 hours about 6 months after installation. I've heard that a bobbed Deuce with un-lockable front hubs and overdrive kit for the transmission can get 13mpg, but that's just what I've heard.

Jan 6, 2009 · A bobbed deuce with oversized tires and wheels will easily run 60+ MPH. To get an M37 to run close to 60 you have to install 489 gears. By the time you install 489s in both holes and do the prudent/needed bearing replacement and front end parts replacement you're going to have $2,000.00 invested.

Jul 7, 2023 · Just to reintroduce myself, I'm Dan, and my old bobbed and rehabbed REO/Stude M35 is named Chesty. I had it built at Boyce Equipment, and while they did an outstanding job, I've had troubles with the turn signals and flashers since I got it back. I just don't drive it most of the time so it's not a huge issue hazards on, RR does not flash

Dec 15, 2014 · When I converted my bobbed M35 to a dump I installed a 12V hoist pump (on one battery) since I could not find a 24V pump at the time. (the pump was included in the kit) I have had pretty good luck with it but when I am busy moving dirt I run the one battery down and have started charging the battery while I am loading with a 120V battery charger.
