Mar 16, 2016 · Have just picked up an Ortofon 2m Blue which I have put on a Jelco HS-25 headshell on my Pioneer PLX-1000. Recommended tracking force is 1.8g but I have put it at 1.99g (0.01g below the max recommended, 2.0g).

Jul 27, 2012 · Increasing tracking force from the manufacture recommended 1.8g to 2.0g has really improved sound quality. I've enjoyed the sound of my 2M Blue since installing it on my 1200 three months ago, but something wasn't quite right with it.

Apr 12, 2021 · Raising the VTF to maximum may or may not solve your problem, depending on the stylus and the record in question. Doesn't hurt to try, as long as you remember to adjust anti-skate accordingly.

Dec 15, 2011 · When there is an AS dial setting, it should follow the actual VTF rather than whatever the counterweight might indicate. However, AS dial settings are notoriously innacurate. So your dial indicating 2.5 might be fine for 1.8g on a 2M Blue, it's hard to say.

Make sure you recheck after any VTF or SRA adjustments. Up to 5 hours are when the major changes in audio characteristics take place.

May 25, 2014 · Some games will require you to relaunch them before the item will be downloaded. The Other Blue Team has better quality texture except Sniper and it isn't fair that Valve are too lazy for the BLU Team and their care about the RED Team skins. Move the textures to tf_movies or usermod. This only if you're a fan of BLU Team instead of Red or not.
