A cleric can be concentrating on Spirit guardians AND have a spiritual weapon up which is a really big boon to the party, plus they have other nice support things like healing word, possibly a channel divinity, or if you put her as a light cleric she will have fireball and you can just spam that

In the event that you have two characters cast Bless on the same target, one will just override the other to provide one instance of the buff. Upon recast from the same character, it will just extend the duration of the buff. (Bless lasts 10 rounds before it expires.

Bless is really helpful, and like someone else said, you don't need to cast the actual spell directly if you have the ring to apply it on heals. A really strong combo of entirely early game items is the following: - Apply bless on heals ring Can buy it from Volo or the Goblin camp trader. This appears to be randomized.

It also grants the ability to cast Bless from the staff itself once. Mechanically, using Bless now adds the normal effect and a separate buff called Mystra's Blessing.
