Epp, William Harold (1930-95) Bill Epp was born on June 12, 1930, in Glenbush, Saskatchewan and grew up on a farm; his father was a blacksmith. At a very early age, Epp used his creative mind to make toys from available pieces of wood and metal, influenced by the machinery that he saw around him.

Epp created his own bronze foundry on his farm and often invited artists and students to learn about sculpture there. He founded the Prairie Sculptors' Association in 1982. Dec 28, 2006 · The Bill Epp Show spans thirty years from the mid 1960's to 1995. This exhibition is neither a retrospective, nor a definitive look at the art of Bill Epp. It is a visual survey of selected public sculptures (via this catalogue) alongside actual life-sized and smaller bronzes.

Ten local sculptors founded the Association in 1982. Bill Epp, a renowned artist, and professor of sculpture at the University of Saskatchewan, inspired the group. The main activities of the Associations have been symposia and shows.

A life size, bronze sculpture by Saskatoon artist Bill Epp (1930-1995) was donated to the city by his wife Betty. Bill's work is found in the collection of the British Royal Family and other collections across Canada.
