Nov 4, 2024 · Kinda looks like the lower brace in your 2nd picture does seem to be a Big Bolt brace. Here's a pic from an ebay offered set of 1-1/ 2 - 2 Ton front fender braces that looks just like your sample. The extra curve in the brace is clearly evident.

Sep 23, 2020 · I don't think there is a locker for old trucks, might try a steering brake on spinning wheel( home made), otherwise get a newer rear with correct bolt pattern, Detrpit Locker. Ed '37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires.

Nov 7, 2017 · I finally got to do some measuring. The front cab mounting bolts are wider by about 11 1/2 ". The back are the same. So, cut and re-weld the front dimples in the floor. Thanks all ! Now to figure out what to do with my 1st series 55 big bolt.
