Probably near the 65,000 mile mark. I cleaned and greased the steering head bearings at about 40,000 miles on my 1250S Bandit.

A rider on a motorcycle is moving in one direction with all parts pretty much being constant except the wheels, which give a motion blur. On a bicycle, everything is in motion.

I will say though that if you have a bike like the GS/A where the wheel mounts to a hub like a car tire instead of on an axle like many bikes, then you will need some kind of adapter to hold the wheel correctly on whatever shaft you use on your balancing stand. Otherwise the wheel will just fall to one side and you cannot balance it.
