There's a glitch where you can fight and kill Daisy in act 1 in the latest patch (4.1.1.3669438). Using a high-strength character you might be able to pick her up.

To be fair, I haven't seen Daisy since I didn't play EA, but there was zero part of me that ever thought the Dream Visitor was anything other than a con. Simply encouraging the player to consume a mindflayer tadpole renders their advice suspect to the point of absurdity.
