The Tatra 613 is a large luxury rear wheel driven car with rear-mounted air-cooled engine manufactured by Czechoslovak manufacturer Tatra from 1974 until 1996 as a replacement for the Tatra 603 series. It featured an all-new body styled by Vignale of Italy back in 1968 [1] and used a DOHC air-cooled 3.5 litre V8 engine with 168 PS (124 kW). [2] .

A T613 Special would never be made in a western free-market environment. In essence, the T613 Special epitomizes Tatra’s production in the post-war communist era and embodies the negative image that the company was saddled with as a result of being an official limo for the communist party apparatus.

It's engine is based on the classic T613 air-cooled V8, but of 4.5-litre capacity, with an output of 302 kW @ 8000 rpm and 490 Nm @ 6800 revs. Maximum speed is 316 kph, acceleration to 100 takes 5 s and 18 s to reach 200 kph. Tyres were 245/50 R 15 at front, 300/50 R15 at rear.
