Beit She'an (Hebrew: בֵּית שְׁאָן Bēṯ Šəʾān ⓘ), also known as Beisan (Arabic: بيسان Bisān ⓘ), [2] or Beth-shean, is a town in the Northern District of Israel. The town lies at the Beit She'an Valley about 120 m (394 feet) below sea level.
